At the Tropic of Capricorn, in Namibia

At the Tropic of Capricorn, in Namibia

Five months ago together with the crew of Vikings Across Africa we arrived at destination, in Cape Town and our trip in Africa had reached an end. It seems weird that so much time already passed.

It seems weird to be back here and to think of that time as much as it was weird to be there and to think of here.

In the last 5 month I have been struggling to come back to life, to my “normal life”, the life of a white person but I have to thank a place like Amsterdam for giving me the possibility to always find a piece of Africa around the corner, so that the transition is not as shocking as I thought.

Africa has been emotional and now, looking at it from so far away, I can understand how important this trip has been to me and to my traveling future.

I keep answering a lot of questions about Africa.

So, to resume your curiosity:

Lessons from Africa: we are all the same, all belonging to the human race, doesn’t matter the colour of your skin, actually the colour of your skin is an ornament of your soul.

Our daily life on te truck

Our daily life on te truck
